A love letter to the sound of music and the music of sound. Recorded and returned to from 2013 to 2022.

These 13 tracks were put together from explorations in dubbed-out no-input mixing boards, unplugged electric guitars, half-remembered drunken singalongs and a general idea of "getting to know thy gear".

The coping mechanisms are literal and biological as well as psychological - the devices through which we experience and make music, the radio, the birdsong, the guitar, the amp, the mixer, the DAW, the ear, the brain, the inner city and the brook in the middle of the forest. The start-up sound of your favourite games console and the voices of the people in your life, tangential figures and permanent fixtures. Everything you deem worthy of committing to tape.

And so I did. Headphones, car stereo or cell phone speakers. All work well. Thank you for listening.
